I just don't understand Justin Bieber's video for "What do you mean?"
I wanted to ask people on Twitter and Facebook, but I'm ashamed to do it. Not because of Justin; he's awesome and I have enjoyed his work since "Baby"... the recent "Sorry" bandwagon is just late; he has like 5 other GREAT songs like "U Smile", "Never say never", "Boyfriend"... I'm ashamed because somehow people look up to me and think I'm intelligent or something. And I'm a screenwriter, I should understand a basic plot from a video. But maybe this one is just too complex. I don't know.
Anyways, it starts with JB talking to John Leguizamo(!). He gets a lighter from John and ask him not to hurt the girl. He says something like "if you play with fire you'll get burned". Bieber goes to a motel and fucks XENIA DELI (It's the place where princess warriors go to get sandwich). Midway hot looks, abs, boobs and a Calvin Klein product placement... masked guys come inside the motel room and hijack them! They are bonded with ropes and Justin sets them free using the lighter John Leguizamo gave them. But the masked guys are right behind them...so Justin stops and ask Xenia Deli "Do you trust me?". He gets her by the hand and they jump... into a sort of a bouncer that gets deflated afterwards. And now they are inside a party with several skaters and then Justin comes up to a guy with a mask and he is... JOHN LEGUIZAMO! And he asks "Do you got what's mine?" and JB gives him back the lighter and they all have fun.
What the fuck!
Was this a plan from Justin to see if the girl really "liked" and "trusted" him? Like that saying that goes like "you only know someone when you get kidnapped together and put inside of a trunk tied by a rope?". And if that's what it is... maaaan, talk about someone with trust issues!
And why does Justin Bieber ask John Leguizamo in the beggining not to hurt her? If it's fake... of course he will not.
I'm confused.
Maybe it's a meta thing with the title of the song...
What do YOU mean, Bieber?
